Killara Public School places a strong emphasis on the use of new technology to enhance learning. The school ensures all students are engaged in a quality learning environment that is collaborative, creative and tailored to individual needs.
All classrooms are equipped with substantial technologies, with Interactive Whiteboards in each room, laptops across the school in classrooms from Kindergarten to Year 6, access to iPads and robotics and a wireless network throughout the school. This technological integration allows for high levels of student stimulation and interaction as well as the opportunity for students to build upon necessary technical skills required to complete a range of tasks.
Killara had significant success in the last few years with our robotics teams competing in the First LEGO League competition since 2012. These teams have won trophies in both the regional and National Competitions.
