Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our school office.  If your child arrives at school after 9:15am they need to come to the office to be signed in.

All children should be collected from school at 3:15pm unless they are attending after school care or an extra-curricular activity. If you are running late, please let the school office know and we will arrange for your child to wait in the office until you arrive.

Our bell times

All students need to wear a school hat during recess and lunch.

School office hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm during school terms. The office is closed during school and public holidays.

Morning routine

There is no supervision before 8.45am so please do not drop your child at school before this time, unless they are attending before school care or an extra-curricular activity.  If you need to drop your child at school before 8:45am, please book them into Gowrie OSHC.

Change in routine

Children are not permitted to leave the school premises during school hours unless the school is informed by a parent. If you wish to take your child out of school, please call at the office to sign them out before going to the classroom. If you need to relay a message to your child, please contact the office. If your child arrives late to school, you must come to the office with your child to sign them in. This is necessary so that the school knows that your child is on site and to ensure your child's safety.

Staff development days

The first four days of Term 1 and the first day of Terms 2, 3 and 4 are set aside for teacher professional learning and essential school planning. Children remain at home on these days.
